Finance Director

Maria Medina

Closing Manager

Originally from San Cristóbal, Venezuela, Maria moved to South Florida in 1998 and began building a career rooted in accounting, operations, and client service. She gained extensive experience across multiple industries, with a strong focus on construction accounting, where she developed the precision, organization, and problem‑solving skills that would define her professional path. Over the years, she advanced from clerk to assistant to specialist, eventually launching her own bookkeeping and tax‑readiness company supporting small businesses throughout the region.

In 2017, Maria entered the yachting industry for the first time when she joined 26 North Yachts. Her expertise, reliability, and natural leadership quickly made her an essential part of the organization. Today, as Director of Finance & Closing Manager at YAT Capital, she oversees all financial and closing operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for clients and internal teams alike. She is known for her calm leadership style, her ability to simplify complex processes, and her commitment to strengthening the company’s operational foundation.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys traveling, discovering new foods, and spending quality time with her family. She is a devoted dog lover, a proud mom of two, and an active participant in events that promote healthy living. She also finds joy in watching movies, reading for personal growth, and staying connected to her faith through her church community.
